More info on the Fouth of JulyYeah the info is, the fouth is coming up pretty quick and we still have to find out when we play. However in the world of
Pleasant Heads, I have just about figured out how to upload music on this site. We are working on a compilation CD
of our 35 years of playing. I found a old box of our cassette practice tapes. From a number of bands, Automatic Pilot/ Mary
and Unaimit/Automatics/Gold Road Band/ and others blelieve it or not, and a lot of studio / reheasal time audio. This
stretches throughout 1978 and on. So over these years I found all of these practice tapes I through in a box and didn't
want to listen to anymore than the day we were rehersing. None of these are finished production. So you hear us talking and
making mistakes bad endings, singing a bit flat as we learn the songs and whatever. The tapes weren't made for public
but since some of these pals of ours are now dead and we sounded pretty good as we learned the songs I plan on fitting some
of them on This site. So Check it out. I have about 30 song samples of us, from young to old, and some of you too. We will
add as we are enlightened. Hope you guys who played on some of these enjoy these old songs, flaws and all, we do and we miss
those who have gone on. We will update frequently. Thanks CW Randolph

Playin at the Jive!Ok, so that gig was another experience. We went in with no expectations to practice and that is exactly what we did. Bob,s
Java Jive is one unique experience. The first time for me or all of us Pleasant Heads and it was everything we thought as
we patiently wait till it opened at 8:00 fairly on time. First thing through the door you notice the Jive has its own particular
atmosphere and even it's own particular oxygen. There is the history of the place written on the walls and ceilings. Dave
the friendly bartender had no idea anyone was playing this night so as I followed behind him and let him know the the bands
were there to set up. He simply said, ok if you want to play come on in. Not a lot of pressure to start on time or anytime
as far as we could tell. So we found a few spots to set up on and began to play. Had some folks stop in as we played
but mostly it was just us jammers. Ron Smith from the Great Pretenders stuck around as we rehearsed in Jive. Nice to see him
out listening. We've listened to Great Pretenders Since the 70's and they're always fun. It was Third Degree
Burn's first public (gig?) rehearsal, And Shandi got to rock. And so it went for about 3 hours or so. Thanks to all of
you who came out and all of the players who played. We will probably do it again if ever again we need to feel that Java
Jive soul coursing through our minds and lungs. We had some fun

ReorganizingDue to the nature of musicians, We are taking a winter break. We are still playing but doing a bit of reorganizing. Its pretty
cold out there loading and unloading the trucks so now is the time to do it. We are adding some more songs and a new player
or two. Nothing too major, we should be the new and improved Pleasant Heads without hardly a pause.
